Localization & Pages

How to disable a page?

You can make the page invisible in the menu by changing its status in the Menu management window. However, your page is still accessible for the public by direct links (visitors may have bookmarks, Google has probably cached it, etc.). To make a page inaccessible in any way, turn off all its locales in the Menu or Page settings window (this adjusts the same setting). Then the page becomes non-existent on those locales and shows error 404 - Not found.

To make all pages in one or all locales inaccessible, disable a desired locale in Locales & Domains window. Then all pages become non-existent for the public. However, as an administrator you still see all pages in all locales that they were created on no matter what their status is, so that you can work on those pages and make them available when ready.
